Solventless Cold Cure is a mechanical extraction where the trichome head (hash) is separated from vegetative material in a cold-water bath. The hash is then dried under vacuum and pressure i.e., a freeze dryer, and then squished in a 25-micron bag. The result is rosin. What separates the cold cure is the post processing. Our cold cure rosin is nitrogen packed to pre-establish pressure and eliminate oxidation during the curing process, allowing the terpenes to work their magic. The process takes time and happens at “cold” (65-55 F) temperatures. The end product has more of a badder like consistency.
